Windowpane is a powerful modern rock group well known for their high energy live performances. The band has independently released 4 albums. Their second album “The Index Sessions” contained three tracks that landed in the top 10 of Garageband.com’s play list of over 10,000 titles from unsigned bands around the world. The hit song “Stretch”held the #1 spot on this request driven countdown for over ten weeks.Their explosive live shows coupled with the strength of the Index SessionsEP, caught the attention of producer Brett Eliason (Pearl Jam, Mad Season, Screaming Trees, Dave Matthews, Train, Evanescence etc.). Working closely with Brett throughout 2000 & 2001, Windowpane wrote and released “PUSH” their third album. PUSH gained a great deal of momentum for the group thanks to an incredible response from both fans and the music industry alike. By 2003 the band had gone on to do several Unsigned Music Network showcases at infamous venues on the Sunset Strip such as the Whisky-a-Go Go,and the Viper Room. With their regional fan base continuing to grow and their Seattle fans packing each local show, the band began to focus heavily on writing new material. The response to the bands new direction, new songs and style, has been overwhelming. Shortly after debuting the “new” Windowpane, the band put the wheels in motion for the next record to begin. The group just released their long awaited 4th studio album produced by veteran engineer / producer / musician, Scott Olsen (Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Buckcherry, Alice in Chains, Heart,Queensryche). The new album titled: “The Silence” dropped on August 11th, 2006 and was met with fanatical reviews. Windowpane’s regional fan base has continued to grow with their new record finding strong support on Seattle rock radio and their live shows seeing record attendance.
